One 18 carat yellow gold (stamped) handmade ladies ring, c.1886, with five old European-cut diamonds bead-set side-by-side into the shank. Shank: tapered, slightly rounded profile; shoulders becoming raised. Inside shank: stamped ‘G.B 18CT’ and hand engraved ‘WWX & MHK 17^th Augt 1886’. Polished finish.

Weight: 5.83 grams; thickness of shank at base 1.2mm, width at base 3.3mm to 5.7mm at centre diamond.
